Communication from the Department of Law, dated July 14, 2010, re: Christopher
Maiberger and Ross Towing of Livonia v City of Livonia, et al, U.S. District Court,
Eastern District of Michigan Case No. 2:09-cv-15000.
CONSENT AGENDA
1. BLOCK PARTY: Stacie Pettit, re: to be held Saturday, August 28, 2010, from
12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Louisiana, between Oregon and Kentucky, with no
rain date requested.
2. BLOCK PARTY: Angela Chapman, re: to be held Saturday, August 21, 2010,
from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Olsen, between Henry Ruff and Hillcrest, with no
rain date requested.
3. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY’S NOISE ORDINANCE: Heather and Joe
Swingle, re: to allow a live band to perform from approximately 6:00 p.m. until

family and friends scheduled for Saturday, August 21, 2010.
4. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY’S NOISE ORDINANCE: James Farr, re: to
allow a DJ to perform from approximately 3:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. at 33925
Wadsworth, in connection with his wedding scheduled for Saturday, August 14,
2010.
5. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY’S NOISE ORDINANCE: Marcus Stewart, re:
to allow a live band to perform from approximately 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at
17750 Fairfield, in connection with his wedding scheduled for Saturday, August
21, 2010.

6. SITE PLAN PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2010-06-08-01
submitted by AZD Associates, on behalf of Livonia Dermatology, in connection
with a proposal to construct a medical office complex consisting of two separate
buildings on property located on the west side of Farmington Road, between
Lyndon Avenue and Five Mile Road (14815 and 14801 Farmington Road), in the
Northeast ¼ of Section 21.
7. SITE PLAN PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2010-06-08-02
submitted by ANK Enterprises, Inc., in connection with a proposal to remodel the
exterior of the commercial center (Mid-Five Shopping Center) on property located
on the southwest corner of Five Mile Road and Middlebelt (29441-29583 Five
Mile Road), in the Northeast ¼ of Section 23.
8. REQUEST TO INCREASE THE SCOPE OF WORK AND ADDITIONAL
APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE 2010 SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
(CONTRACT 10-G): Engineering Division, re: to include repairs necessitated
from work performed by Consumers Energy, with reimbursement to the City of
$100,000.00. (CR 113-10)

Matter of the solid waste/recycling contract between the City of Livonia and
Waste Management of Michigan, Inc. for report and recommendation. (CR 426-
07, CR 378-04 and CR 452-00) (CR 932-98)

10. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY’S NOISE ORDINANCE: Karen Ritchey, re: to
allow a live band to perform from approximately 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at

August 14, 2010.
11. PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF TAX FORECLOSED PROPERTIES:
Department of Law, re: to acquire three (3) houses (16425 Rougeway, 14200
Beatrice and 28115 Clements Circle S) for a total of $66,700.01, which includes
closing costs, through the Community Development Block Grant Program and
the Neighborhood Stabilization Program from proceeds from the sale of NSP
properties.

12. APPLICATION FOR INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE:
Robert Sakuta, President, Delta Research Corp., re: for the purchase of various
machinery and equipment for their facility located at 32791 Capitol, Livonia, MI
48150. (Industrial Development District #80)

13. BLOCK PARTY: Marcella Vance, re: to be held Sunday, August 22, 2010, from
2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Auburndale between Five Mile and Myrna, with no
rain date requested.
14. ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION: Division of Police, re: from Target Community
Relations in the amount of $1,500 to be used to support this year’s National Night
Out event.
15. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured
without monetary consideration from Sandra Gnida for an easement in
connection with the development of a public sidewalk constructed at 31270
Pickford Avenue in the Northwest ¼ of Section 11.
16. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured
without monetary consideration from George W. and Ann Bradley for an
easement in connection with the development of a new storm sewer constructed
at 36457 Ann Arbor Trail in the Southwest ¼ of Section 32.
17. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured
without monetary consideration from Thomas Wozniak for an easement in
connection with the development of a public sidewalk constructed at 31222
Pickford Avenue in the Northwest ¼ of Section 11.
18. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured
without monetary consideration from Leo Soave for an easement in connection
with the development of a new sanitary sewer constructed at Wooded Creek
Subdivision in the Northwest ¼ of Section 13.
