Communication from the Department of Finance, dated October 20, 2011, re:
forwarding various financial statements of the City of Livonia for the month ending
September 30, 2011.
CONSENT AGENDA
1. REQUEST FOR THE ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION GIVING THE
TREASURER OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA APPROVAL TO CANCEL
DELINQUENT PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES THAT THE CITY HAS
DEEMED AS BEING UNABLE TO COLLECT AFTER FIVE (5) YEARS: Office of
the Treasurer, re: in order to comply with State Law with respect to tax years
2003 through 2005.
2. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
SMART AND THE CITY OF LIVONIA: Department of Community Resources, re:
for the Municipal Credit Contract for the period July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012,
with all Credits to be used for the Livonia Community Transit Program.
3. REQUEST TO EXTEND AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE PULSAR
BRIQUETTES FROM SOLE SUPPLIER: Department of Parks and Recreation,
re: for the period through November 30, 2012, from B & B Pools and Spas at
2010 pricing. (CR 316-10)
4. AWARD OF BID: Department of Parks and Recreation, re: of various items of
Clothing for the 2012 departmental needs.
5. REQUEST TO APPROVE INCREASE IN GREENS FEES: Department of Parks
and Recreation, re: for Fox Creek, Idyl Wyld and Whispering Willows Golf
Courses effective December 1, 2011.
6. REQUEST TO APPROVE INCREASE IN OUTDOOR SWIM LESSON FEE:
Department of Parks and Recreation, re: to help defray the cost of maintaining
the pools.

STRUCTURES) OF THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES TO THE
COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE: Councilmember John R. Pastor, re: for
discussion purposes.

8. ROLL CALL: Proposed Amendment to the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as
amended: Department of Law, re: Petition 2011-08-03-02 submitted by Lormax
Stern Development Company, pursuant to Section 12.08 of the Livonia Code of
Ordinances, as amended, to determine whether or not to vacate part of an
existing drain easement on property located at the Livonia Marketplace at the
northwest corner of Seven Mile Road and Middlebelt Road in the Southeast ¼ of
Section 2. (CR 289-11 and CR 337-11)

9. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 543, AS AMENDED:
Department of Law, re: Petition 2011-08-01-05 submitted by SREP Haggerty
Road, L.L.C. to rezone properties located on the east side of Haggerty Road
between Seven Mile and Eight Mile Roads (19700 and 19860 Haggerty Road) in
the Southwest ¼ of Section 6 from R-E to C-2 (Research Engineering to General
Business).

10. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 543, AS AMENDED:
Department of Law, re: Petition 2011-10-01-07 submitted by Northern Equities
Group, to rezone a portion of the property located on the west side of Victor
Parkway between Seven Mile Road and Pembroke Avenue (19401 Victor
Parkway) in the South ½ of Section 6 from PO III to OS. (High Rise Professional
Office – maximum 12 stories to Office Services)

11. SITE PLAN PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2011-10-08-09
submitted by Northern Equities Group, on behalf of Infineon Technologies,
requesting approval of all plans required by Section 18.58 of the Zoning
Ordinance in connection with a proposal to construct an office building on a
portion of the property, located on the west side of Victor Parkway between
Seven Mile Road and Pembroke Avenue (19401 Victor Parkway), in the South ½
of Section 6.
12. REQUEST TO APPROVE MEMBERSHIP FEE INCREASES FOR THE LIVONIA
COMMUNITY RECREATION CENTER: Department of Parks and Recreation,
re: to help cover operational costs and to become effective December 1, 2011.
13. WAIVER PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2011-08-02-12
submitted by American Multi-Cinema, Inc. requesting waiver use approval to
utilize a Class C liquor license (sale of beer, wine and spirits for consumption on
the premises) in connection with a multi-screen movie theatre (AMC Livonia 20),
located on the east side of Haggerty Road between Seven Mile Road and Eight
Mile Road (19500 Haggerty Road), in the Southwest ¼ of Section 6.

14. REZONING PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2011-07-01-03
submitted by Kucyk, Soave and Fernandes, P.L.L.C. requesting to rezone
property located on the west side of Henry Ruff Road between Schoolcraft Road
and Lyndon Avenue (14341 Henry Ruff), in the Southwest ¼ of Section 23 from
RUF to R-3 (Rural Urban Farm – ½ Acre Lot to One Family Residential – 80’ x
120” Lots)

15. REZONING PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2011-07-01-04
submitted by Danilo Josifoski to rezone properties located on the north side of
Plymouth Road between Newburgh Road and Chase Boulevard (37600 through
37706 Plymouth Road) in the Southeast ¼ of Section 30 from RUF to R-9 I.
(Rural Urban Farm to Housing for Elderly – 4 Story)

MEETING: Department of Law, re: for the purpose of discussing the subject
pending litigation and attorney/client privileged communications with respect to

Assoc., LLC v City of Livonia (MTT).
17. REQUEST TO SCHEDULE A CLOSED COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE
MEETING: Department of Law, re: for the purpose of discussing the subject

Wertman v City of Livonia.
