CONSENT AGENDA
1. REQUEST THAT THE LIVONIA CITY COUNCIL BECOME A SPONSOR FOR
THE LIVONIA YOUTH PHILHARMONIC OF MICHIGAN (LYPM) ORCHESTRA,
WHICH IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WITH 501(C)(3) STATUS:
Kathleen Bilger, President, re: to enable the LYPM to advertise in the City
bulletins, hang flyers on City property and perform in the Music Under the Stars.
2. APPLICATION FOR MASSAGE APPRENTICE PERMIT: Office of the City
Clerk, re: submitted by David Marhofer in accordance with Chapter 5.49 of the
Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended.
3. REAPPOINTMENT OF MARGARET GRAY AS A REPUBLICAN MEMBER OF
THE LIVONIA BOARD OF CANVASSERS: Office of the City Clerk, re: for
reappointment for another four-year term, which will expire on December 31,
2011.
4. REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE
SPECIALIZED SERVICES VEHICLE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
SUBURBAN MOBILITY AUTHORITY FOR REGIONAL. TRANSPORTATION
(SMART) AND THE CITY OF LIVONIA: Department of Community Resources,
re: so as to cover two 2007 Ford lift equipped vans, which have been approved
through a Michigan Department of Transportation 5310 Grant through SMART
for the Livonia Community Transit Program.
5. REQUEST TO EXTEND CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LIVONIA AND
VANGUARD UTILITY SERVICE, INC.: Water and Sewer Board, re: to test,
repair, and calibrate large commercial water meters for the period through
December 31, 2008, at the unit prices submitted in February 2007.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
7. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF THE PROJECT PLAN AND THE ISSUANCE
OF THE BONDS PROPOSED THEREIN: Economic Development Corporation
(EDC), re: in connection with the application from Madonna University for the
issuance of tax exempt bonds by the EDC for the construction of a new Science
and Media Building on their campus located on the northwest comer of
Schoolcraft Road and Levan Road.

8. ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION: Livonia Public Library, re: of cash and gifts
from various contributors to be used for the purposes as designated by the
donors.

incentives in an effort to move a business from one Michigan City to
