PUBLIC HEARING
Minutes of Meeting Held on Monday, June 1, 2020

A Public Hearing of the Council of the City of Livonia was held at the City Hall Auditorium
on Monday, June 1, 2020.

The Public Hearing was called to order at 7:15 p.m. with President Kathleen McIntyre
presiding. This is a Public Hearing relative to Proposed Special Assessment Street
Lighting Project for the Dover Court Site Condominiums, located south of Ann Arbor
Trail, between Wayne Road and Norwich, in the Southwest ¼ of Section 33.
Establishment of the Assessment Roll. This item will move to the Regular Meeting of
June 22, 2020.
The Public Hearing is now open. There was no one in the audience.
McIntyre: Mr. Zilincik?
Zilincik: Again, this is similar to the previous discussion on Capri Court. There are a
total of seventeen lots on this development. Again, it would be 72-watt LED
lights, five of them installed on colonial posts. The total cost by the
developer will be $12,382.00 and again, each individual person would pay
$85.71 in the Fall once we get the lights installed here, but again, its similar
to the last one. Lights to be installed by DTE, maintained by DTE and the
cost is done by the developer. This electrical cost to the residents, once
they are assessed, will be $85.71. I’d be happy to answer any questions if
anybody has any.

McIntyre: Alright, Council?
Bahr: Madam President?
McIntyre: Yes, Vice President Bahr.
Bahr: I’d be happy to offer this for Consent approval, since there is no objection.
McIntyre: Paul, remind me. I didn’t think things could go from Public Hearing to
Consent.
Bernier: I don’t think they can either, I don’t think you can go from the Public Hearing
to Consent.
McIntyre: I believe it has to go to Regular.
Bahr: Alright.
McIntyre: Alright, so we’ll put it on the Regular, if no one else from the City or any of
our attendees in the audience have comments or questions for the public
hearing. With that, we are adjourned this evening.
As there were no further questions or comments, the Public Hearing was declared
closed at 7:17 p.m.
