REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE ONE (1) POWER PRO XT AMBULANCE COT AND FIVE (5) POWER LOAD AMBULANCE COT LOADING SYSTEMS FROM SOLE SOURCE: Livonia Fire and Rescue, re: to improve safety for both its personnel and patients needing emergency medical care, from budgeted funds. 3. REQUEST TO APPROVE PURCHASE: Livonia Fire and Rescue, re: of replacement Hurst E-Draulic vehicle/rescue extrication tools from sole source, from budgeted funds 6. REQUEST TO PURCHASE TWO (2) REPLACEMENT CARDIAC MONITOR/DEFIBRILATORS: Livonia Fire and Rescue, re: from Zoll Medical Corporation, the sole supplier, from budgeted funds. 7. REQUEST TO PURCHASE ONE (1) AIR COMPRESSOR THROUGH THE NATIONAL JOINT POWERS ALLIANCE (NJPA) CONTRACT: Public Service Division, re: due to high demand in the field a second compressor will benefit the department, from budgeted funds. 8. REQUEST TO PURCHASE ONE (1) 15” DRUM-STYLE CHIPPER THROUGH THE NATIONAL JOINT POWERS ALLIANCE (NJPA) CONTRACT: Public Service Division, re: to replace chipper #255 which has far exceeded its life expectancy, from budgeted funds. 9. AWARD OF BID: Public Service Division, re: to replace one asphalt paver, from budgeted funds. 10. AWARD OF BID: Public Service Division, re: for the installation of grease traps at Fire Station #6 and Fire Station #3, from budgeted funds. 11. WAIVER PETITION: Planning Department, re: Petition 2017-09-02-11 submitted th by 10 Planet Michigan, L.L.C., to operate a martial arts and yoga studio located on the east side of Farmington Road between the CSX railroad right-of-way and Schoolcraft Road (12924 Farmington Road) in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 27. UNFINISHED BUSINESS MEETINGS OF THE COMMITTEE 12. COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE – Meeting of Wednesday, November 8, 2017 The subject of a Brownfield Plan and Reimbursement Agreement for the former Farmer Jack Supermarket property located on the south side of Seven Mile Road between Middlebelt Road and Melvin Avenue (29601, 29659 and 29701 Seven Mile Road). (CR 363-17) Agenda for the Regular Meeting of December 4, 2017 3 UNFINISHED BUSINESS 13. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to amend Sections 030 and 040 of Title 2, Chapter 84 (Primary and Regular Elections), to ensure that city ordinances are consistent with and correspond to state law. 14. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 543, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: Petition 2017-07-01-04 submitted by Elizabeth Nace, to rezone the property located on the west side of Middlebelt Road between Joy Road and Grandon Avenue (9039 Middlebelt Road) in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 35, from OS (Office Services) to R-1 (One Family Residential – 60’x120’ Lot). 15. PROPOSED SPECIAL ASSESSMENT STREET LIGHTING PROJECT: Department of Assessment, re: for the Mystic Creek Site Condominiums, located east of Wayne Road and south of Curtis Road, in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 9. (Establishment of Assessment Roll) Public Hearing held on November 15, 2017. NEW BUSINESS 16. REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE: Engineering Division, re: for the Eight Mile Road and Seven Mile Road improvements, not to exceed $47,524.58. (CR 299-16) 17. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured without monetary consideration from Trinity Senior Living Communities, a Michigan non-profit corporation, for a 12-foot wide public easement in connection with the development of a new water main at Marycrest Manor (15475 Middlebelt Road) in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 14. (Tax ID No. 46-056-99-0030-004) 18.
