The Public Hearing was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with President Kathleen McIntyre presiding. 2 McIntyre: We will now call the public hearings to order. Good evening everyone. We have two items--two public hearings tonight. The first is a proposed special assessment street lighting project. This comes to us from the Engineering Division for Arbor Trail Estates Site Condominiums, located north of Ann Arbor Trail, between Wayne Road and Newburgh Road, in the SE corner of Section 32. This is to determine the necessity of a Special Assessment Street Lighting Project. Now the City Clerk has mailed notices to persons owning land in the proposed Special Assessment District and all other requirements of Section 3.08.110 of the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended have been fulfilled. The Public Hearing is now open for comments. Please state your name clearly and your address before making your comments. Good evening, Mr. Zilincik, do you have-- Zilincik: I can just do a brief summary, Madam President. McIntyre: That would be--that would be fantastic if you would please. Zilincik: Just--as you know Arbor Trail Estates is located east of Newburgh Road north off of Ann Arbor Trail and there’s 19 homes in that proposed development called Arbor Trail Estates. I believe there’s actually three residents in there now and there are several homes being built as we speak. The proposed is to obviously provide lighting for that subdivision as people are living there. We’re looking at providing five fixtures that would be LED lights, 52 watts on four foot colonial posts. We’ve got a letter from Detroit Edison on the cost. And just looking to the necessity to obviously provide street lighting. The developer has provided funding if decided so to move forward. Thank you. McIntyre: Thank you very much. Anyone have any questions for Mr. Zilincik? Meakin: Madam President. McIntyre: Yes, Mr. Meakin. Meakin: I’ll offer the approving resolution for necessity. McIntyre: Okay. Anyone on Council have any questions? Would anyone in the audience like to speak on this item? All right, well then seeing no one, this item will go on the regular meeting agenda for Monday, December 5, 2016. And I guess we’ll see the Engineering Department there. All right? Very good, thank you. 3 As there were no further questions or comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed at 7:01 p.m. SUSAN M. NASH, CITY CLERK
