AWARD OF BID: Department of Parks and Recreation, re: for the purchase of one (1) new golf course greens mower for Whispering Willows Golf Course, from budgeted funds. 11. AWARD OF BID: Public Service Division, re: to replace thirteen (13) overhead doors (two at City Hall and eleven at the Fleet Maintenance garage), from budgeted funds. 12. REQUEST APPROVAL TO ACCEPT A GRANT FROM THE DETROIT EDISON COMPANY (DTE): Engineering Division, re: to retrofit Mercury Vapor Streetlights to LED along Farmington Road from Six Mile Road to Eight Mile Road, for a total cost of $54,932.00, with the City’s contribution to be $36,678.00 from budgeted funds. 13. AWARD OF BID: Engineering Division, re: for the 2016 Concrete Road Selective Slab Replacement Program – Contract 16-J. Agenda for the Regular Meeting of June 20, 2016 3 UNFINISHED BUSINESS 14. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: Petition 2015-07-03-01 submitted by Ignacio and Jacklyn Salazar, request to vacate part of an existing utility easement located on the north side of Weymouth Drive between Levan Road and Newburgh Road (37190 Weymouth Drive), in the Northwest ¼ of Section 8. 15. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO TITLE 10 (VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC) OF THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to bring the City Ordinances in conformance with the Michigan Vehicle Code (“MVC”) as well as the Michigan Uniform Traffic Code for Cities, Townships and Villages. 16. ROLL CALL: Proposed Amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 543, as amended: Department of Law, re: Petition 2016-02-06-02, submitted by the Planning Commission, pursuant to Council Resolution 210-16, to remove Section 13.03(d) of Article XIII, P District Regulations, to eliminate confusion regarding the construction of parking decks and other structures designed for parking vehicles. ROLL CALL: Proposed Amendment to Livonia Code of Ordinance, as amended: Department of Law, re: to Section 040 of Title 13, Chapter 08 (Water Service Rates and Revenue) to provide for changes in the water service consumption rates to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2016. ROLL CALL: Proposed Amendment to Livonia Code of Ordinance, as amended: Law Department, re: to Section 050 of Title 13, Chapter 08 (Water Service Rates and Revenue) to provide changes in the water service consumption rates to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2016. ROLL CALL: Proposed Amendment to Livonia Code of Ordinance, as amended: Law Department, re: to Section 120 of Title 13, Chapter 20 (Livonia Sewage Disposal System) to provide for changes to the sewer disposal and maintenance rates to become effective with the first billing on or after July 1, 2016. ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION PLACING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS UPON REFERENCED PROPERTIES WHOSE OWNERS HAVE NOT PAID CHARGES CONNECTED WITH THE 2015 SIDEWALK PROGRAM, CONTRACT 15-G, SINGLE LOT ASSESSMENTS: Office of the Treasurer, re: same. REQUEST TO DESIGNATE CONSULTANT THROUGH THE QUALIFICATION- BASED SELECTION (QBS) PROCESS, TO PROVIDE DESIGN ENGINEERING SERVICES; AND REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE FOR THE AMRHEIM ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT: Engineering Division, re: to reconstruct Amrhein Road, from Eckles Road to 3,500 feet east of Eckles Road, in an amount not to exceed $110,800.00, from budgeted funds. WAIVER PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2016-04-02-06, submitted by O’Malley’s Bar and Grill, to expand the existing food service operation and Class C Liquor License of the restaurant to include an outdoor dining patio located on the west side of Farmington Road between Lyndon Avenue and Five Mile Road (15231 Farmington Road), in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 21. 28. WAIVER PETITION: Planning Commission: re: Petition 2015-06-02-08, submitted by The Kroger Company requesting waiver use approval to utilize an SDD liquor license (sale of packaged spirits over 21% alcohol) in connection with a retail facility located on the south side of Five Mile Road between Merriman Road and Henry Ruff Road (30935 Five Mile Road), in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 23. (This petition was denied by the City Planning Commission at their Regular Meeting of June 30, 2015, and comes to the City Council per the petitioner’s request for an appeal.) PROPOSED SPECIAL ASSESSMENT STREET LIGHTING PROJECT: Engineering, re: to include two (2) outlots to the Special Assessment Street Lighting Project in the Churchill Manor Site Condominiums located west of Newburgh Road and north of Joy Road, in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 31.
