MIDDLEBELT ROAD (5 Mile Road to 7 Mile Road) TRAFFIC SIGNAL
MODERNIZATION PROJECT
CITY OF LIVONIA, MICHIGAN
CONTRACT 10-L
Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Livonia, Michigan as owner until
2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Livonia City Hall, 33000 Civic Center
Drive, Livonia, Michigan 48154, at which time said proposals will be opened and publicly
read.
The City of Livonia seeks proposals for the following:
Professional Engineering Design Services for the traffic modernization of
the intersections along Middlebelt Road at 5 Mile, 6 Mile and 7 Mile Roads
to provide new strain poles with box span configuration along with LED
traffic and pedestrian signals; survey and coordination to replace sidewalk
and sidewalk ramps to meet ADA compliance in conjunction with MDOT
Contract ID#82457-107487 in the City of Livonia.
Proposals under which the work will be done may be obtained, starting Monday,
February 1, 2010 at the office of the City Engineer, 33000 Civic Center Drive, City Hall
Annex Building, Livonia, Michigan 48154.
The Engineering Consultant and Subconsultant must possess the appropriate MDOT
Local Agency Program (LAP) prequalification for the work performed.
No consultant may withdraw his/her proposal within one hundred and twenty (120)
calendar days after the date set for opening thereof. The City reserves the right to reject
any bid or all bids and waive irregularities in bids.
ADDRESS ALL BIDS TO THE CITY CLERK IN A SEALED ENVELOPE, WHICH
CLEARLY STATE THE NATURE OF THE BID.
