HomeMy WebLinkAboutBOARD OF CANVASSERS 1954-04-08 Page 14.40 MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE BOARD OF CANVASSERS OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA IL Pursuant to Section 12 of Chapter III of the Charter, the members of the City Council of the City of Li onia met as the Board of Canvassers of such City on Thursday, April 8, 1954, at approximately 8:10 P. M , at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan The meeting was called to order at the above tine and place by the Vice President of the Council, Wilson W Edgar, who acted as Chairman of the Board The City Clerk read to the board the apntents of certified statements of the returns of each precinct, as prepared and certified by the election inspectors of each pre cinct and as filed in her office and the se returns were publicly examined and canvassed by the board, and were approved #1006-A RESOLVED, that the following statement of votes cast in the regular city election held on April 5, 1954• ILTHE WHOLE NUMBER OF W TES CAST FOR THE OFFICE OF MAYOR OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA WAS SEVEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FORTY-NINE 7,949 AND THEY WERE GIVEN FDR THE FOLLOWING NAMED PERSONS: FT.REaT M. HARTOM RECEIVED THREE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED NINETEEN 3,619 HARRY S.
