HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1958-10-13 NECESSITY HENRY RUFF Page 3617 MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR TH"; PURPOSE OF DETERMINING THE NECESSITY OF INSTALLING PAVING, DRAINAGE AND SIDEWALK ON HENRY RUFF ROAD BETWEEN GRANDON AND JOY ROAD, CITY OF LIVONIA. A Public Hearing for the purpose of determining whether or not to install paving, drainage and sidewalk on Henry Ruff Road between Grandon on the North and Joy Road. on the South in Section 35, City of Livonia, was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:16 P. M., October 13, 1958, at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road. The following members of the Council were present: Austin T. Grant, Frank OINeill, Sydney B. Bagnall, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Jack Salvadore and James R. McCann. Absent: Robert Sasser. The Chairman stated that the City Clerk had mailed notices to those persons owning land in the proposcisl_ecia2 assessment district and that all othe r requirements of Ordinance No. 31, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," have been fulfilled; therefore, the Public Hearing was declar d open for comments. Questions and comments of interested pa ties present were heard and given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. There being no further comments or questions, the Chairman declared the Public Hearing closed at approximately 8:26 P. M., Octdoer 13, 1958. Mri; • . Clark, City Clerk
