HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1961-10-25 NECESSITY SECTION 35 Page 5o30 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF INSTALL-MG STREET LIGHTS IN THE NORTH 1/2 OF SECTION 35, IN THE CITY OF LIVONIA On October 25, 1961, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of' the Council at approximately- 8:10 P. M. Present: Sydney B. Bagnall, John T. Daugherty, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Austin T. Grant, Jack Salvadore and William N. Ponder, Absent: James R. McCann. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 31, as amended of the City of Livonia entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements" Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with Section 12 of said Ordinance No. 31, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity of installing electric street lighting in J. F. Ferry Subdivisions 1 and 2, Devonshire Park Subdivision and Bel-Aire Sub- division, in the North 1/2 of Section 35 in the City of Livonia. Questions, comments and communications from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed at approximately 9:00 o'clock P.M., October 25, 1961. 2 Mari, r, Clark, City Clerk
