HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1962-02-28 NECESSITY HENRY RUFF Page 5213 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF INSTALLING PAVING AND DRAINAGE IN HENRY RUFF ROAD, BETWEEN GRANDON AND JOY ROADS, SECTION 35. On February 28, 1962, the above meeting was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council, Sydney B. Bagnall, who acted as Chairman, at approximately 8:07 P. M. Present -- Sydney B. Bagnall and Rudolf R. Kleinert. Absent -- Austin T. Grant, Jack Salvadore, James R. McCann, John T. Daugherty and William N. Ponder. The Chairman stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 31, as amended, of the City of Livonia entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with Section 12 of said Ordinance No. 31, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity of installing paving and drainage improvements in Henry Ruff Road, between Grandon and Joy Roads, in Section 35 in the City of Livonia. Questions, comments and communications by interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed at approximately 8:25 P. M., February 28, 1962. � r / Mari- vv. ark, City Clerk
