HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1962-10-24 BUDGET Page 5718 PUBLIC HEARING October 24, 1962 Proposed Budget for the Period Beginning December 1, 1962, to November 30, 1963 Pursuant to Sections 14 and 5, Chapter VIII of the Charter of the City of Livonia, a Public Hearing was held on October 24, 1962, at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, on the proposed budget of the City of Livonia for the year commencing December 1, 1962, and ending November 30, 1963, The public hearing was opened at approximately 7:35 P. M., by the President of the Council. Members present were: Sydney B. Bagnall, John T. Daugherty, William E. Parks, Rudolf R. Kleinert, John F. Dooley, Edward H. McNamara and James R. McCann. Absent: None. The City Clerk presented to the Council satisfactory evidence that proper notice of this public hearing had been duly published at least one week in advance of such hearing by the City Clerk in The Livonian, the official newspaper, and that there has been full compliance with the provisions of the City Charter. Due consideration was given by the Council to questions and comments on the proposed budget. The President declared the public hearing closed at approximately 8:07 P. M., October 24, 1962. Marie*.
