HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1962-06-18 NECESSITY ROYCROFT Page 5496 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR STORM SEWERS ON ROYCROFT AVENUE EAST OF MIDDLEBELT ROAD IN SECTION 13 On June 18, 1962, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice President of the Council at approximately 9:37 P. M. Present-- Edward H. McNamara,John T. Daugherty, William E. Parks, Rudolf R. Kleinert and John F. Dooley. Absent-- Sydney B. Bagnall and James R. McCann. The Vice President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 31, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assess- ment and a Special Assessment Procedure," and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with Section 12 of said Ordinance No. 31, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity of installing storm sewers on Roycroft Avenue east of Middlebelt Road in Section 13 of the City of Livonia. Questions and comments by interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed at approximately 10:03 P. M., June 18, 1962. ( C Ma . Clark, City Clerk
