Proposed Budget for the Period Beginning
December 1, 1964, to November 30, 1965
Pursuant to Sections 4 and 5, Chapter VIII of the Charter of the City
of Livonia, a Public Hearing was held on October 28, 1964, at the City Hall,
33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, on the proposed budget of the City of
Livonia for the year commencing December 1, 1964, and ending November 30, 1965.
The public hearing was called to order by the President of the Council at ap-
proximately 7:44 P. M. Members present were: Rudolf R. Kleinert, John T. Daugherty,
Edward H. McNamara, Peter A. Ventura and Daniel C. Allen. Absent: James R. McCann
and John F. Dooley.
The City Clerk presented to the Council satisfactory evidence that proper
notice of this public hearing had been duly published at least one week in advance
of such hearing by the City Clerk in The Livonian, the official newspaper, and that
there had been full compliance with the provisions of the City Charter.
Due consideration was given by the Council to questions and comments
on the proposed budget.
The President declared t he public hearing closed at approximately 8:02 P.M.,
October 28, 1964.
