HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1965-02-08 NECESSITY SECTION 32,33 Page 6993 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF PAVING UNPAVED PORTION OF YALE AVENUE IN SECTIONS 32 AND 33, CITY OF LIVONIA, On February 8, 1965, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:20 P. M. Present-- Rudolf R. Kleinert, Peter A. Ventura, Daniel C. Allen and John F. Dooley. Absent-- Edward H. McNamara, James R. McCann and John T. Daugherty. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 1401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing L duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 1401, as amended, the City Council was opening a public hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity for the installation of paving on the unpaved portion of a right-of-way to be acquired for the purpose of opening and extending Yale Avenue south of Plymouth Road from the north boundary line of Country Homes Subdivision to Plymouth Road, in Sections 32 and 33 of the City of Livonia.
