HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1965-06-28 NECESSITY SECTION 24 Page 7300 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF PAVING THE EAST 1/2 OF HARRISON AVENUE FROM LYNDON SOUTH TO GITA AVENUE IN SECTION 24 On June 28, 1965, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 7-35 P. M. Present—Rudolf' R Kleinert, Peter A Ventura, Charles J Pinto, Daniel C Allen, John F Dooley and Edward H McNamara. Absent--James R McCann The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedu/e", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No 401, as amended, the City Council was opening a public hearing tor the purpose of determining the necessity of installing paving on the East 1/2 of Harrison Avenue from Lyndon Avenue south to Gita Avenue in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 24, in the City of Livonia. Comments by interested persons were given due consideration by the Council. There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed at approximately 740 P.
