HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1966-09-07 PETITION 1966-01-06-01 Page 8123 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITIONS 66-1-6-1 & 66-4-6-6 TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 543 On September 7, 1966, the above hearings were held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:24 P. M. Present--Peter A. Ventura, Rudolf R. Kleinert, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Edward H. McNamara, Jerry Raymond, Robert F. Nash, and Jack Salvadore. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons affected by the proposed changes and all other require- ments of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. In accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, The City Zoning Act, (M.S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a Public Hearing relative to various changes in the Zoning Ordinance. There were six people present in the audience. Petition No. 66-1-6-1, initiated by the City Planning Commission to deter- mine whether or not to amend Ordinance No. 543 so as to repeal Section 11.03 thereof and add a new Article XXV thereto which would establish C-3 District Regulations. Questions and comments from interested persons were given consideration by the Council. Petition No. 66-4-6-6, initiated by the City Planning Commission to deter- mine whether or not to amend Ordinance No. 543 so as to create industrial park pro- visions in M-1 and M-L Districts. Questions and comments from interested persons were given consideration by the Council. There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed at approximately 8:36 P.
