HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1966-11-30 SAD LYNDON AVE Page 8342 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR INSTALLING SIDEWALKS ON LYNDON AVENUE FROM SUNSET TO HENRY RUFF IN SECTION 23 On November 30, 1966, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:28 P. M. Present--Peter A. Ventura and Robert F. Nash. Absent--Rudolf R. Kleinert, Edward H. McNamara, Jerry Raymond, Jack Salvadore, and Edward G. Milligan. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose of review- ing the assessment roll for the installation of sidewalks on Lyndon Avenue from Sunset Street to Henry Ruff Road in the West 1/2 of Section 23, City of Livonia, Michigan. There were approximately forty people in the audience. Questions and comments by interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed at approximately 8:50 P. M., November 30, 1966. i ADDISON W. BACON d ty C erk
