HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1969-02-26 PETITION 1968-12-02-26 10235 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION 68-12-2-26 (Waiver Use) SECTION 3, CITY OF LIVONIA On February 26, 1969, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Councilman Nash at 7:37 P. M. Present--Robert F. Nash, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Edward H. McNamara, Rudolf R. Kleinert, and Robert E. McCann. Councilman Nash stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 543, the City Council is opening a Public Hearing on a "Waiver of Use" petition submitted by Paul B. Fried, Vice President of Austin Oil Corporation, re- questing permission to construct a gasoline service station as a waiver use on property zoned C-2 and located at the Southwest corner of Merriman Road and Eight Mile Road in Section 3, City of Livonia. Donald C. Deremo spoke in behalf of the petitioner. Comments from an interested person were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
