HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1969-01-15 SAD SIDEWALK FARMINGTON 10130 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SIDEWALKS ALONG BOTH SIDES OF FARMINGTON ROAD BETWEEN FIVE MILE AND EIGHT MILE IN THE CITY OF LIVONIA I On January 15, 1969, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 7:30 P. M. Present--Edward H. McNamara, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, Robert E. McCann, Robert F. Nash, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Rudolf R. Kleinert. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council is opening a public hearing for the purpose of reviewing the assessment roll for the installation of sidewalks along both sides of Farmington Road Lbetween Five Mile Road and Eight Mile Road in the City of Livonia. There were approximately seventy-five people in the audience. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
