HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1969-05-14 SAD EIGHT MILE 10472 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSFSSMENT ROLL FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SIDEWALKS ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF EIGHT MILE FROM ANGLING TO MIDDT,FBELT IN SECTION 1 On May 14, 1969, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 7:15 P. M. Present: Edward H. McNamara, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Peter A. Ventura, *Jerry Raymond, Robert F. Nash, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent: Robert E. McCann. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council is opening a public hearing for the purpose of review- ing the assessment roll for the proposed installation of sidewalks on the south side of Eight Mile from Angling to Middlebelt in Section 1 of the City of Livonia. *Councilman Raymond arrived at 7:20 P. M. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
