HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1969-01-15 PETITION 1966-02-01-02 10129 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VARIOUS ZONING PETITIONS On January 15, 1969, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 7:01 P. M. Present--Edward H. McNamara, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, Robert E. McCann, Robert F. Nash, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Rudolf R. Kleinert. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City Zoning Act (M.B.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to requests for changes in the Zoning Ordinance. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hear- ing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed changes and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. Petition No. 66-2-1-2 submitted by Charles G. and Genevieve M. Brown for a change of zoning in Section 32 from RUF to C-2. There were no comments from the audience regarding this petition. Petition No. 68-8-1-35 submitted by Thompson & Meir for Roger M. Ajluni, M.D. for a change of zoning in Section 10 from RUF to PS. Robert R. Thompson, 18770 Farmington Road, spoke in behalf of his client. Allen Williams, 17930 Farmington, was in favor of the petition and there were no other comments. Petition No. 68-6-1-19 submitted by Botsford Realty Company for Joseph and Nann Dudzik for a change of zoning in Section 3 from R-3A to PS. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. The public hearing was declared closed at 7:30 P. M., January 15, 1969. ( ADDISON W. BAION,(Citi Clerk
