HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1970-09-02 PETITION 1970-05-01-16 11591 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION 70-5-1-16 On September 2, 1970, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice- President of the Council at 8:20 P. M. Present--Edward G. Milligan, Jerry H. Brown, Robert D. Bennett, and Robert E. McCann. Absent: Robert F. Nash, Peter A. Ventura, and Jerry Raymond. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The Vice-President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2931 ), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition No. 70-5-1-6 submitted by Trinity Park, Inc. to rezone property in Section 24 from RUF (Rural. Urban Farms) to R-9 (Senior Citizens Housing). Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
