HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1970-09-02 PETITION 1970-03-02-06 11592 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION 70-3-2-6 (Waiver Use) SECTION 33, City of Livonia On September 2, 1970, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice- President of the Council at approximately 9:20 P.M. Present: Edward G. Milligan, Jerry H. Brown, Robert D. Bennett, and Robert E. McCann. Absent: Robert F. Nash, Peter A. Ventura and Jerry Raymond. The Vice-President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 543, the City Council is opening a public hearing on a "Waiver of Use" Petition submitted by Clarence Charest for Harold Kelso requesting permission to allow property zoned C-2 and located on the south side of Plymouth Road, west of Farmington Road in Section 33, City of Livonia, to operate a Class C Liquor licensed establishment. Clarence Charest, Attorney, represented the petitioner. There were approximately twenty-five people in the audience. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
