HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1969-09-20 NECESSITY LEVAN HEIGHTS 10790 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE NECESSITY OF INSTALLING STREET LIGHTS IN LEVAN HEIGHTS SUB. & LEVAN HEIGHTS SUB. #2, & PARCEL 20Hla & PARCEL 20J1 On September 10, 1969, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 7:45 P. M. Present: Edward H. McNamara, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Peter A. Ventura, Robert E. McCann, and Robert F. Nash. Absent: Jerry Raymond and Edward G. Milligan. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council is opening a public hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity of installing ornamental street lighting with underground conductors in Levan Heights Subdivision & Levan Heights Subdivision #2, Parcel 20Hla and Parcel 20J1 in the N. E. 1/4 of Section 20, City of Livonia, Michigan. L Questions and comments from William Juday, 14500 Levan, were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
