HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1970-05-27 PETITION 1970-02-02-04 11354 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION 70-2-2-4 (Waiver Use) SECTION 31, CITY OF LIVONIA On May 27, 1970, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 7:35 P.M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Edward G. Milligan, Jerry H. Brown, and Robert E. Bennett. Absent: Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, and Robert E. McCann. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accord- ance with said Ordinance No. 543, the City Council is opening a public hearing on a "Waiver of Use" Petition submitted by Green, Ettenheimer, Farber, Binkow Co. for Shell Oil Company requesting permission to allow property zoned C-2 and located on the northwest corner of Joy Rd. and Hix Rd. in Section 31, City of Livonia, to be used for a service station. Patrick Duggan, Attorney, represented the petitioner. There were no comments from the audience regarding this petition., The public hearing was declared closed at 7:50 P. M., May 27, 1970. ADDISON W.
