HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1970-07-15 PETITION 1970-04-02-08 11454 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION 70-4-2-8 (Waiver Use) SECTION 1, CITY OF LIVONIA On July 15, 1970, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:05 P. M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Edward G. Milligan, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry H. Brown, and Robert E. Bennett. Absent: Robert E. McCann, and Jerry Raymond. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accord- ance with said Ordinance No. 543, the City Council is opening a public hearing on a "Waiver of Use" Petition submitted by Brashear, Brashear and Duggan, Attorneys for Fred Sanders requesting permission to construct and operate a retail baked goods and confectionery store together with an ice cream parlor type restaurant on property zoned C-2 and located on the east side of Middlebelt, north of Seven Mile Rd. in Section 1, City of Livonia. William Brashear, Attorney, represented the petitioner. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera- tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
