HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1970-06-03 NECESSITY PLYMOUTH ROAD 11355 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECFSSITY OF ASPHALT PAVEMENT OF ALLEY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF PLYMOUTH ROAD, BETWEEN MERRIMAN AND HUBBARD L On June 3, 1970, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice-President of the Council at 8:08 P. M. Present: Edward G. Milligan, Jerry H. Brown, Jerry Raymond, Robert E. McCann, Peter A. Ventura, and Robert E. Bennett. Absent: Robert F. Nash. The Vice-President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assess- ment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council is opening a public hearing for the purpose of determing the necessity of installing pavement in alley on the L south side of Plymouth Road, between Merriman and Hubbard in the City of Livonia. There were approximately fifteen people in the audience. Questions and comments from iaterested persons were given due considera- tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
