HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1970-05-04 NECESSITY MERRIMAN PARK APT 11280 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY RELATIVE TO INSTALLING STREET LIGHTS IN THE MERRIMAN PARK APARTMENT SITE On May 4, 1970, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 7:51 P.M. Present: Jerry Brown, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, Robert F. Nash, Robert E. McCann, and Robert Bennett. Absent: Edward G. Milligan The President stated that pursuant to Chapter 5 of Title 2 of the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended, and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with Section 2-506 of said Code or Ordinances, as amended, the City Council was opening a public hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity for the installation of ornamental street lighting with underground wiring for the Merriman Park Apartment site in the northwest 1/4 of Section 2 in the City of Livonia. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
