HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1971-07-19 PETITION 1971-03-02-13 12290 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION 71-3-2-13 (Waiver Use) On July 19, 1971, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice President of the Council at 8:10 P.M. Present: Peter A. Ventura, Edward G. Milligan, Jerry Raymond, and Robert D. Bennett. Absent: Robert F. Nash, Jerry H. Brown, and Robert E. McCann. The Vice President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 543, the City Council is opening a public hearing on a "Waiver of Use" Petition submitted by Boron Oil Company requesting permission to construct a modern full-facility service station as a waiver use on property zoned C-2 and located in the Imo northeast corner of Newburg and Seven Mile Roads in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 5, City of Livonia. There were approximately thirty-five persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
