HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1971-07-19 SAD PLYMOUTH ROAD 12291 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE OVERALL PARKING DEVELOPMENT FOR COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT ON SOUTH SIDE OF PLYMOUTH ROAD BETWEEN HUBBARD AND MERRIMAN ROAD On July 19, 1971, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice President of the Council at 9:55 P.M. Present: Peter A. Ventura, Edward G. Milligan, Jerry Raymond, and Robert D. Bennett. Absent: Robert F. Nash, Jerry H. Brown, and Robert E. McCann. The Vice President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Assessment Roll for the overall parking development, including landscaping, erections of screening wall, etc. for commercial development on south side of Plymouth Road between Hubbard and Merriman Road in Section 3L , City of Livonia. There were approximately thirty-five persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
