HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1971-01-25 PETITION 1970-10-02-21 11863 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION 70-10-2-21 (Waiver Use) SECTION 33, City of Livonia On January 25, 1971, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 9:28 P. M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Jerry H. Brown, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, Edward G. Milligan, Robert E. McCann and Robert D. Bennett. Absent: None. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 543, the City Council is opening a public hearing on a "Waiver of Use" Petition submitted by Robert A. Acchione, attorney for Burger King Corporation, requesting permission to construct a Burger King restaurant on property zoned C-2 and located on the south side of Plymouth Road between Stark Road and Farmington in Section 33, City of Livonia. There were approximately nine people in the audience. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
