HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1971-09-13 SAD DEERING AVENUE 12423 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR L THE INSTALLATION OF ORNAMENTAL STREET LIGHTING WITH UNDERGROUND WIiING ON DEERING AVENUE, SECTION 36 On September 13, 1971, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9:55 P.M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Edward G. Milligan, Jerry H. Brown, Peter A. Ventura, Robert E. McCann, and Robert D. Bennett. Absent: Jerry Raymond. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ofdinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", the City Council is opening a public L hearing on the Assessment Roll for the installation of street lights with underground wiring north of Joy Road, in the S.E. 1/4 of Section 36, City of Livonia. There were approximately two hundred persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
