HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1971-09-13 NECESSITY COVENTRY GARDENS 12425 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECFSSITY FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS IN COVENTRY GARDENS SUBDIVISION IN SECTION 16 L On September 13, 1971, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 10:03 P.M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Edward G. Milligan, Jerry H. Brown, Peter A. Ventura, Robert E. McCann, and Robert D. Bennett. Absent: Jerry Raymond. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Oodinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Necessity for street improvements in Coventry Gardens Subdivision in Section 16, City of Livonia. LThere were approximately two hundred persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
