HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1972-01-10 SAD MERRIMAN RD 12670 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SIDEWALKS ON MERRIMAN ROAD SOUTH OF PLYMOUTH ROAD IN SECTION 35 On January 10, 1972, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8:00 P.M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Jerry H. Brown, Peter A. Ventura, Robert E. McCann, and Robert D. Bennett. Absent: Jerry Raymond and Edward Milligan. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An 0-dinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Assessment Roll for the installation of sidewalks on Merriman Road south of Plymouth Road in Section 35, City of Livonia. There were approximately thirty-five persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8:07 P.M., January 10, 1972. ADDISON W. BACON, rk
