HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1971-09-13 NECESSITY ANTAGO 12427 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENT ON ANTAGO STREET, BETWEEN SEVEN MILE ROAD AND VASSAR AVENUE IN SECTION 1 On September 13, 1971, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 10:30 P.M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Edward G. Milligan, Jerry H. Brown, Peter A. Ventura, Robert E. McCann, and Robert D. Bennett. Absent: Jerry Raymond. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on Necessity for road improvement on Antago Street, between Seven Mile Road and Vassar Avenue in Section 1, City of Livonia. There were approximately two hundred persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
