HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1971-11-15 PETITION 1969-07-01-23 12558 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VARIOUS ZONING PETITIONS On November 15, 1971, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8:00 P. M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Edward G. Milligan, Jerry H. Brown, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, Robert E. McCann, and Robert D. Bennett. Absent: None. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition No. 69-7-1-23 submitted by John F. Dooley, Attorney for Gil Investment Company, Inc. for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Schoolcraft Road, east of Levan, in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 20 from C-1 (Loc. Bus. Dist.) to C-2 (Gen. Bus. Diet.) Petition No. 71-6-1-40 submitted by Malian N. Ponder, Attorney for Harry and Mary Pierce for a change of zoning of property located on the southwest corner of Farmington Road and Richland in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 33 from RUF (Rural Urban Farms) to P.S. (Professional Serv. Dist.) The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9:30 P. M., November 15, 1971. ADDISON d. BACON. Cit Cle k
