HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1971-11-08 SAD SIX MILE ROAD 12554 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SIDEWALKS ON SIX MILE ROAD FROM NERRIMAN TO NEWBURGH ROADS IN SECTIONS 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 AND 17 On November 8, 1971, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8:00 P.M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Edward G. Milligan, Jerry H. Brown, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, Robert E. McCann, and Robert D. Bennett. Absent: None. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Assessment Roll for the installation of sidewalks on Six Mile Road from Merriman to Newburgh Roads in Sections 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17, City of Livonia. There were approximately eighty persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
