HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1971-10-04 ASSESSMENTS 12462 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING RELATIVE TO ADJUSTMENT OF EXISTING ASSF.9SMENTS FOR STREET LIGHTING IN SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICTS 10, 11, 16, 19, 20, 21, 33, 40, 41, 46, 47, 48, 49, 5c) AND 51 On October 4, 1971, the above meeting was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice-President of the Council at 8:10 P.M. Present: Edward G. Milligan, Robert F. Nash, Jerry H. Brown, Peter A. Ventura, Robert E. McCann, and Robert D. Bennett. Absent: Jerry Raymond. Also present were representatives from the Detroit Edison Company: Mr. William J. Browne, Mr. John M. Gallagher, and Mr. Dan Fierz. The Vice-President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Assessment Roll relative to the adjustment of existing assessments for street lighting in special assessment districts 10, 11, 16, 19, 20, 21, 33, 40, 41, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50 and 51, City of Livonia. There wore approximately one hundred and forty persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk. The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9:00 P.M., October 4, 1971. AOsilk ADDISON W.
