HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1971-12-01 BUDGET 12491 PUBLIC HEARING October 18, 1971 Proposed Budget for the Period Beginning December 1, 1971 to November 30, 1972 Pursuant to Section 4 and 5, Chapter VII of the Charter of the City of Livonia, a public hearing was held on October 18, 1971, at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, on the proposed budget of the City of Livonia for the year commencing December 1, 1971, and ending November 30, 1972. The public hearing was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:10 P. M. Members present were: Robert F. Nash, Edward G. Milligan, Jerry Raymond, Jerry H. Brown, Robert E. McCann, Robert D. Bennett, and Peter A. Ventura. The City Clerk presented to the Council satisfactory evidence that proper notice of this public hearing had been duly published at least one week in advance of such hearing by the City Clerk in the Livonia Observer, the official newspaper, and that there had been full compliance with the provisions of the City Charter. There were no comments from the audience regarding the budget. The President declared the public hearing closed at approximately 8:15 P. M., October 18, 1971. ADDISON W. BACIk
