HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1972-06-26 NECESSITY PURLINGBROOK 13033 MINUTES 0,7' PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF EXISTING PA M JIM T ON PURLINGBROOK AVENUE, NORTH OF SEVEN MILE ROAD TO THE SOUTH LINE OF THE SENIOR CITIZENS APARTMENT SITE, LOCATED IN SECTION 2 On June 26, 1972, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8:33 P.M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Edward G. Milligan, Jerry H. Brown, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, and Robert D. Bennett. Aesent: Robert E, McCann. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on Necessity for the widening and improvement of existing pavement on Purlinghrook Avenue, north of Seven Mile Road to the south line of the Senior Citizens Apartment Site, located il Section 2, City of Livonia. There were approximately twenty-five persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
