HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1972-07-10 NECESSITY BENNETT 13069 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENT ON BENNETT AVENUE wEar OF MERRIMAN ROAD, LOCATED IN SECTION 10 On July 10, 1972, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice President of the Council at 8:05 P. M. Present: Edward G. Milligan, Robert E. McCann, Robert D. Bennett, and Jerry Brown. Absent: Peter A. Ventura, Robert F. Nash, and Jerry Raymond. The Vice President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on Necessity for road improvement on Bennett Avenue, west of Merriman Road, located in Section 10, City of Livonia. There were approximately seventy persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons ware given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
