HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1972-07-10 NECESSITY VARGO AVENUE 13071 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENT ON VARGO AVENUE, WEST OF MERRIMAN ROAD, LOCATED IN SECTION 10 On July 10, 1972, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice President of the Council at 8:56 P. M. Present: Eduard G. Milligan, Robert E. McCann, Robert D. Bennett, and Jerry Brown. Absent: Peter A. Ventura, Robert F. Nash, and Jerry Raymond. The Vice President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. LD1, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Malting of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on Necessity for road improvement on Vargo Avenue, west of Merriman Road, located in Section 10, City of Livonia. There were approximately seventy persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
