HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1972-10-09 NECESSITY BRETTON ROAD 13259 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENT OF BRETTON ROAD (AIDDLEFELT ROAD TO PURLINGBROOK) LOCATED IN SECTION 2 On October 9, 1972, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and, was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 08 P M. Present Robert F Nash, Edward G. Milligan, Robert E McCann, Robert D Bennett, Jerry Brown, Peter A Ventura, and Jerry Raymond Absent--None. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Necessity for proposed road improvement of Bretton Road (Middlebelt Road to Purlingbrook) in Section 2, City of Livonia There were approximately fifty persons present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
