HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1973-02-05 NECESSITY DEERING 13+99 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE NECESSITY FOR THE PERMANENT IMPROVEMENT OF DEERING AVENUE FROM NORTH OF VASSAR AVENUE TO PEMBROKE AVENUE IN THE S E. 1/4 OF SECTION 1 On February 5, 1973, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 10 23 P M Present Robert F Nash, Robert E McCann, Robert D Bennett, Jerry Brown, Peter A Ventura, and Jerry Raymond Absent Edward G. Milligan The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for the permanent improvement of Deering Avenue from North of Vassar Avenue to Pembroke Avenue in the S E 1/4 of Section 1, City of Livonia There were approximately fifteen persons present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk The Public Hearing was declared closed at 10 55 P M , February 5, 1973 ADDISON W.
