HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1973-01-08 PETITION 1972-08-01-41 13446 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VARIOUS ZONING PETITIONS On January 8, 1.973, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 05 P M Present Robert F Nash, Edward G Milligan, Robert E McCann, Jerry H Brown, Peter A Ventura, and Jerry Raymond Absent Robert D. Bennett Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S A Section 5 2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance Petition No 72-8-1-41 submitted by Milton Lebonbom for Samuel B Sherer for a change of zoning of property located on the northeast corner of Middlebelt and West Chicago Roads in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 36, from R-1 (One Family Residential District) to R-7 (Multiple Family Residential District) and C-1 (Local Business District) Petition No 72-6-1-35 submitted by Mt. Hope Congregational Church for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Schoolcraft Road, east of Henry Ruff in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 23, from RUF (Rural Urban Farm District) to R-9 (Housing for Elderly) The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 50 P M , January 8, 1973 ADDISON W.
