HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1973-01-22 PETITION 1972-10-01-45 13464 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VARIOUS ZONING PETITIONS On January 22, 1973, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice- President of the Council at 8 05 P M Present Edward G Milligan, Robert E McCann, Robert D Bennett, and Jerry Raymond Absent Robert F Nash, Jerry Brown, and Peter A Ventura. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The Vice-President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Iber Zoning Act (M S A Section 5 2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance Petition No 72-10-1-45 submitted by Hyman Gold for a change of zoning of property located on the west side of Gill Road, south of Seven Mile Road, in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 9, from RUFB (Rural Urban Farm District) to R-3 (One Family Residential District) Petition No 72-9-1-42 submitted by Charest, Clancy & Katulski for Harold L Thomas for a change of zoning of property located on the southeast corner of Five Mile Road and Beatrice in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 23 from RUFA (Rural Urban Farm District) to C-2 (General Business District) Petition No 72-9-1-44 submitted by Charest, Clancy & Katulski for Alexander and Carolina Slabey for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Schoolcraft Road between Brookfield and Hubbard in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 22 from RUF (Rural Urban Farm District) to C-1 (Local Business District) The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 43 P M , January 22, 1973.
