HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1974-09-23 SAD COVENTRY GARDENS 14577 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE ALLEY IMPROVEMENT IN COVENTRY GARDENS SUBDIVISION IN SECTION 16 On September 23, 1974, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8.05 P M Present Robert F Nash, Jerry Brown, Robert E McCann, Robert D Bennett, and Robert R Bishop. Absent--Peter A Ventura and Jerry Raymond. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Assessment Roll for an alley paving improvement with a twenty-foot wide, 7 1/2" deep strength asphalt pavement with valley Swale, or its equivalent design in Coventry Gardens Subdivision, in the S E 1/4 of Section 16, City of Livonia, Michigan. There were approximately fifteen people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
