HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1974-03-11 SAD INDUSTRIAL RD 14243 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTS ON THE INDUSTRIAL ROAD IN SECTION 26 On March 11, 1974, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9 02 P. M Present Robert F Nash, Jerry Brown, Robert E McCann, Robert D. Bennett, Robert R. Bishop, Peter A Ventura, and. Jerry Raymond. Absent. None. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Assessment Roll for the installation of street lights on the Industrial Road, east of Merriman in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 26, City of Livonia. There were approximately fifty people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 13 P M , March 11, 1974.
